Because we put a great deal of time and effort into each custom order, from design concept to finished product, we do not offer refunds for deposits. However, all is not lost. Your $50 deposit will transfer into BVBucks and can be used towards any pre-made merchandise in our Ready To Wear department.
Your BVBucks are good for 30 days from the date the deposit was initially paid.
Deposits transferred into BVBucks may only be used for pre-made items in our Ready To Wear department.
Processing times vary greatly due to a number of factors unique to each order. Generally, we can complete orders within 1-4 weeks.
There are quite a few variants that go into completing a custom order. Because each order is unique, we opt not to give pricing until after we've researched the costs. This protects you from being over charged and us from taking an unnecessary loss. But again, the deposit is transferable to pre-made merchandise in our Ready To Wear department.
Ready To Wear merchandise ships between 1-2 business days via USPS Priority Mail. Custom designs ship within 1-4 weeks. We will provide you with an expected ship date when your order is finalized and any additional deposits required are paid.
We are updating our shipping carrier options and will offer more shipping options soon. At this time we only ship via USPS Priority Mail which takes 2-3 days to arrive at your door.
Of course we want you to be happy with your custom BVDesigns piece. We offer one free alteration per customized item purchased. Email us at alterations@bluevalentinedesigns.com to request an Alteration Authorization Number (AAN). Items sent to us without this number will be returned.
For custom orders, we pay for return shipping for your first free alteration. For additional alterations and all other merchandise, return shipping is your responsibility.
Once we receive your request for an Alteration Authorization Number (AAN), we will forward a return shipping label for you to print, along with instructions on returning your item for alteration.
As soon as you receive your order, try it on and let us know how it fits. Send us an email at alterations@bluevalentinedesigns.com within 2 days of your delivery date to receive a free alteration. If we don't receive your email within 2 days, alteration prices vary based on the work needed.
Yes, for a fee we can alter your outfit. Alteration fees vary depending on the work needed to get the desired fit. Call us for pricing and to obtain an Alterations Authorization Number (AAN) before sending us your item to alter.
Email us at alterations@bluevalentinedesigns.com within 2 days of the delivery date to obtain an Alterations Authorization Number (AAN). Be sure to include this in your return package to receive your free alteration.
We offer one free size alteration per custom designed or custom fitted piece. We do not offer alterations for any other merchandise nor anyone else's work.
If you have to pay a deposit to place an order, items purchased are considered custom. If you order items from our website and we do not need to discuss sizing or design options, items purchased are not considered custom (although, they are still made to order).
We only accept returned items for alteration if they show no signs of wear, damage or alteration by anyone else. Items returned to us for alterations that show any signs of wear, damage or alterations will be returned to sender.
Due to the custom and intimate nature of our designs, all sales are final.
